Only for ICRC alumni members
As mentioned, the General Assembly of the ICRC Alumni will take place on Saturday, April 25 th , 2026, in Neuchâtel at the Beaulac Hotel (room Léopold Robert), starting at 10:30.
An outline of the program is included hereunder. Documents for the GA will be shared with you in due time.
A contribution of CHF 60 per member will be collected upon arrival in cash or via Twint.
In the afternoon, it is foreseen, from 1600 to 1720, to make a short cruise on the lake. No worries, no typhoons are expected at that time of the year…! (22.40 CHF or 11. 40 (with CFF/SBB half-fare travelcard).
The Neuchâtel Chapter of the Alumni is proud to have among its members the President of the City Council, Nicole Baur! Nicole will be with us that day and will share a few insights on Neuchâtel, today. A representative of the ICRC will be with us for a briefing on the institution in this crucial time.
Neuchâtel is an interesting city on many fronts. Besides its unique yellowish buildings made of stones of Hauterive, its Castle and Collégiale are witnesses of its long history. A few of its museums are well-known, among them the Latenium which richly illustrates the second Iron time (between the 5 th and the 1 st century BCE). A new museum – La Tour du Fantastique –, a former jail…, has opened its gates in the old city! The Centre Dürrenmatt is, as well, worth a visit with its main building designed by Mario Botta.
For those willing to spend the weekend – or more… – in Neuchâtel, a stay in a hotel includes the Neuchâtel Tourist Card which offers free access to museums, public transport and a cruise on the lake… The Card does extend to the whole of the canton (https://www.j3l.ch/fr/Z10779/neuchatel-tourist-card-
page).
We look forward to seeing you in Neuchâtel! Many thanks to register and inform us if you want to join for the lunch and the excursion.
